Omnido

Bring scattered tasks together.

A question in Teams, an email, a thought in between: Omnido turns it into a task. The AI reads along and suggests the title, date and category. You check, accept and have everything in one place, with the source right there.

Dictated, typed, selected in Teams, photographed or mistyped: each one ends as a task. The AI spots the date and topic, and on a photo the product along with the action “Buy”. Mistyped text becomes a suggested title: the AI reads which library is meant from “About me”, and the category comes from “Learned”. From Teams, the source comes along; with a connected work or school account, Omnido looks for the message, and “Go to source” opens it.

How an email becomes a task

  1. Capture

“Capture” dialog with the text “Call the print shop about the flyers tomorrow morning. The proof must be approved by Wednesday.” and an optional source field.

Select text, press the shortcut, done. Omnido takes the text and its context along, such as the app, the window title or the page address.

  2. Check

“Check the task”: Omnido suggests the title “Call the print shop about the flyers” and a description; category, priority and date are still empty. The original text is shown above.

The AI suggests a title, description, date and category. Dashed fields still need a check. You change what doesn’t fit and accept the task.

  3. Overview

Start screen: one overdue, three due today and three undated tasks, the new “Call the print shop about the flyers” at the bottom.

Start shows what matters now: new captures, what is overdue and what is due today. You sort all tasks by time or area, work and personal in one place.

  4. Go to source

Task “Reply to the logo draft feedback” with a browser source and the “Go to source” and “Change date” buttons.

The task keeps its source with its origin and an excerpt. “Go to source” takes the best stored way back, for example to the mail, the chat or the page.

Why Omnido exists

My tasks were spread across GitHub issues, Planner, Microsoft To Do, WhatsApp and personal notes. I was missing one overview, and later I often no longer knew where I had to reply. That is why I am building Omnido.
